For those asking, yes, I am receiving many photos right now, but I am being selective as to which ones I post.  One, many of them aren’t very clear in what they’re depicting (even when I have descriptions).  Two, some were corrupted during transmission, so they’re incomplete or distorted.  Three, the most important reason, I have to assume that the Dinosaur Queen is reading this (or has someone to watch this site).  Some photos have possibly compromising shots of the Dino Army, and they have distinguishing landmarks or buildings in the background.  These could lead to serious immediate trouble for the photographer and the people in that neighborhood.  Rest assured, I have forwarded these to more proper channels, but I don’t want anyone to get hurt by the Dino Army.

That being said, I will post a photo of the Dino Army guarding the Hard Light Bridge in Riverfront Park.  Since it’s out in the open, it’s not a good spot to hide anything.  Also, if you were planning on trying to cross it, now would not be a good time.

Keep safe, and keep sending in your photos.  They are getting to me.

  • Dino-Ray: 10-Mile Radius

    Dino-Ray: 10-Mile Radius

    By Chase Chapley

The Dino-Ray used to turn every human into a dinosaur apparently has about a 10-mile radius.  Assuming that’s accurate, everyone outside the I-299 beltway should be safe.

I’m hearing this from locals living on the outskirts of New Romford who have traveled past a certain distance away from Downtown.  Once they pass a certain threshold, they’ve reverted back to their human form, albeit naked now.  One resident was flying west (as a Pterodactyl) when he reached this threshold, and then he plummeted to the ground.  He may’ve suffered a few broken bones but seems to be okay from what I’ve been told.

I’m only hearing this through secondhand accounts (texts and phone calls).  Communications are still sketchy, and I’m constantly on the move, pausing only to blog and to get a quick bite to eat, which I’ll talk about later.  A couple of my colleagues are gathering information right now, and hopefully then I’ll have some firsthand accounts (preferably pictures or videos).

But it does seem that we can exit the sphere of the Dino-Ray and become human again.  It’s likely the Dinosaur Queen knows this, and knows that we know this, so I’d recommend heading outside of the sphere a.s.a.p.  The center seems to be Grainger Tower.  We might not have this chance for very long.

  • Community Spaces Used for Gathering Points

Community Spaces Used for Gathering Points

    By Chase Chapley

Reports are coming in that parks, playgrounds, gyms, and garages are being used as shelter and gathering points.  Ralier Stadium and GBH Stadium are being occupied by the larger people-dinosaurs as they are the largest open-air spaces Downtown.

While these places make sense when you’ve grown much larger due to the Dinosaur Queen’s “Dino-Ray,” I don’t know how safe it is to be out in the open with the Dino Army out in force.  I can only see what the army officers have done within a 6-8 block radius.  I’ve heard from some of the flying people-dinosaurs that they’re concentrating in Downtown New Romford, but a few divisions are moving into Dukes and Bexton.  So far, they seem to only be interested in keeping the peace, so to speak, but I’ve already seen what they’re capable of if we got out of line.

Be careful when congregating in open spaces.  I understand that we all need to stick together, especially if you’re suddenly 100-feet tall and weigh 20 tons, but be ready to run at any moment.

Who knows what the Dinosaur Queen has in store for us.

  • Dinosaur Queen’s Army Patrolling Streets

    Dinosaur Queen’s Army Patrolling Streets

    By Chase Chapley

BREAKING NEWS:  The Dinosaur Queen’s army is now patrolling the streets in Downtown New Romford.

I witnessed them march down 20th St near City Hall.  They were wearing the distinctive armor and emblem of the Dinosaur Queen, and they were marching in unison.  There were at least three unique regimens:  the small raptors that ran down the sidewalks, carrying spears, the larger T-Rexes, and the enormous brachiosauruses, which trotted down the middle of the street.  They did not interact with anyone apart from the raptors moving people out of the way.

This was clearly a display of power by the Dinosaur Queen.  The parade lasted for twenty minutes with hundreds of army dinosaurs walking down the street.  A few blocks down, I could see the army split into two directions, along 4th Ave.  Another ten minutes later, I saw some of the army dinosaurs had circled behind me, moving up 19th St, and then I saw the other line swing up 22nd or 23rd St.  They were leaving a few army dinosaurs at each intersection, essentially establishing a perimeter around City Hall and the Courthouse.  I can only imagine the same happened around Grainger Tower.  One can only wonder why the Dinosaur Queen needs City Hall and the Courthouse, but it is already turning ugly.

Some NRPD officers confronted some of the army a block behind me.  They were attacked by the T-Rexes and raptors while the brachiosaurus just watched.  The officer was able to break free (he was a dinosaur slightly smaller than the T-Rex, but I don’t know what kind he was), but then the brachiosaur swung it’s gigantic tail, which had been fitted with what looks like a cannonball at the end, and flung the officer 100 feet into the air, landing on the street.

I could hear some further rumblings a few blocks away from me, but I couldn’t see it.  I can only assume it was more of the same.  For now, it would be best to not engage the army if possible.  They are better equipped and more adept at fighting as dinosaurs than we are.  Please do not engage.

I’ll continue to write as long as I can.  Stay safe.

Thanks to Mark Kunkel, who can still use his phone, was able to take a picture of the now transformed Grainger Tower.  I’m hearing from the NRPD that the Dinosaur Queen used some kind of undocumented magic to transform the human populace into dinosaurs, and one would assume it was also used on Grainger Tower.

  • Bridges Clogged or Collapsed

    Bridges Clogged or Collapsed

    By Chase Chapley

Reports are coming in from across downtown that bridges across the Winston and Plymton Rivers are clogged with stagnant cars or have collapsed altogether.

Since the dinosaur transformation happened during the afternoon, the bridges were heavily populated, especially along the freeways and the main thoroughfares of 4th Ave, 16th Ave, Washington Ave, and Main St.  I’m getting conflicting reports, but they all seem to be impassable for various reasons.  Either stagnant cars have clogged the bridges, or a transformation into a gigantic dinosaur has crushed the bridge.  The 4th Ave bridge, one of the old bridges in New Romford, has collapsed, according to several dozen people I’ve spoken to near the courthouse.  I haven’t seen it personally, but there is a plume of dust or smoke rising from that general direction.

I’ve also heard reports of several smaller bridges downtown have collapsed but have not been able to confirm them.  This includes the Bay Road Bridge, the Judith Bridge (25th Ave), and the Atomic Age Bridge (Romford Way).  These could just be rumors, but proceed with caution.  I don’t know what the maximum weight some of these older bridges can hold, and with our increased sizes, it’s possible enough of us could break them.

Interestingly, the Hard Light Bridge (8th Ave) is still standing (or so I’ve heard), and it is supposed to hold several megatons of weight.  Although it runs on electricity from a generator inside Grainger Tower, which is currently under the Dinosaur Queen’s control.  Please proceed with caution if you decide to cross it.

  • ‘We Will Stop Her’

    ‘We Will Stop Her’

    By Chase Chapley

The Peace Force has finally released a statement on the “Dino-Day” incident.  It reads as follows:

The Peace Force, while affected by the Dinosaur Queen’s magic, is working on how to best stop her evil plot.  Many of our members have either grown too small or too large to use their powers effectively without causing more harm than good.  Our greatest minds are formulating a way to both stop the Dinosaur Queen and to safely reverse her magic.

We have not faced this type of scheme before, so please remain calm.  We will stop her.  In the meantime, stay with your friends and family.  Work with your neighbors.  Most importantly, stay safe.

    Thank you.

So far there has been no sighting of Adonis, Titana, or any other Peace Force member.  No word has come from any of the Amazings, whose tower was taken over by the Dinosaur Queen.  Without further knowledge, it’s impossible to say what types of dinosaurs they have transformed into, if at all.  It’s also impossible to say how growing “too small or too large” has affected their powers since many of their powers are based within relation to their human sizes.  If Adonis were 100 feet tall, how much stronger would he be, for instance?

Until then, it’d be best to heed their advice.  Stay safe.

    More to come.
